Drilling Engineering for Reservoir Engineers Course

This course provides a working knowledge of well drilling beginning with the planning stage and progressing through execution of the many processes and procedures involved. The course will cover theory and practical application. The course will focus on the role of the Reservoir Engineer in both well planning and execution of the well plan.

To provide an in-depth knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of drilling operations. At the end of the course delegates will learn how to acquire and validate the key data to properly plan a well drilling project. The delegate will then learn how to properly execute the well plan with emphasis on proper communication between all drilling team members. The instructor will facilitate discussions on the many disciplines involved in the drilling process.
