Analytical Techniques in Water and Wastewater Analysis Course

This course provides participants with fundamental laboratory techniques used in wastewater analysis. Participants will become familiar with laboratory procedures for the physical, chemical, and biochemical examination of wastewater. It covers the various analytical techniques implemented to determine the organics, inorganics, and radioactive materials. It also covers the toxicity test systems, requirements, evaluation, and their implementation. In addition, the participants will learn to evaluate the data generated by these tests and thereby interpret and draw conclusions about water quality from the results of these tests. The protocols for collecting, preserving, and analyzing water samples will be presented.

This is a 5 day training course for introducing the participants to simple and advanced analytical techniques used for certain important physico-chemical parameters in water and wastewater.
