WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This short course is intended for delegates at Operator and Supervisor Level (combined discipline but also available as a single discipline certification)

 

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

To provide a basic understanding of the practical and theoretical aspects of Live Well Pressure Control to IWCF standard.

Well completions

Well heads

Christmas trees

Downhole pressure and volume calculations

Circulating and killing methods

Wireline, coiled tubing and snubbing procedures

Well control techniques and contingencies

 

 

For the combined certificate course, delegates will have to take all 5 papers including completions, principles and procedures, wireline, coiled tubing and snubbing operations – certification is only awarded if candidates pass the disciplines nominated. Candidates may elect to sit a single service paper or nominate two services for certifications.

 

 

INTENDED FOR

Operators, Well Services Supervisors, Production Engineers and Supervisors, Integrated Service Crews and Supervision, Wireline, Coiled tubing and Snubbing Crews and Supervisors, taking the certificate for the first time.
