This short course introduces fundamental log quality control concepts for all open hole logs usually run in wells. The participants will learn how to effectively control the quality of all logs in real time. The exercises are developed with actual logs ran in real wells, so the participants will be exposed to log quality control on real data. At the end of the course the participants will be trained to perform log quality control on real time at wellsite as well as post-morten in the office.
The certification of the acquired data is a very critical aspect of wireline logging. It is performed through the observation of key quality indicators, the main objective of this course is to make all participants aware of these quality indicators as well as the different techniques to solve commonly found issues at the wellsite.
Who Should Attend
Engineers in exploration and production departments, geologists, geophysicist and petrophysicist, petroleum, reservoir and drilling engineers who are directly involved with data validation and interpretation of wireline and LWD logs.
